Active summer holiday

The school summer holidays are well under way. At Museum Ovartaci, twelve children aged 8-10 years spent three days in their first holiday week in the museum's children and youth studio. And let's be honest: It was buzzing with life and creativity. Together with our children's facilitators, the children created exciting mini-worlds and fantastic, brightly colored paintings. The outlet was the museum's central artist Ovartaci and his enthusiasm for using available materials.

The three creative days ended with a festive vernissage, where the children themselves showed their many fine works to excited parents and siblings, other guests and the museum's staff.

Being YOUNG

At Museum Ovartaci, we are happy and grateful that the Nordea Foundation is co-financing our project Being YOUNG ("UNG i dag") .

The project aims to create a community-building platform for and with young people rooted in art and culture. Through the project young people can meet in equal dialogues about e.g. identity, normality and body ideals with an aim to strengthening young people's mental well-being and cultural citizenship.
