Penny Flows spoken concert

Experience the raw and authentic music at the Penny Flows spoken concert at the museum on 8 August from 15-17.

During Covid, Pernille Karlsen, artistically called Penny Flows, got stranded in Costa Rica. This involuntary stay meant that she came down with stress and was forced to prioritise her health. She bought a ukulele and a notebook and quickly learned how music could be used as therapy and to let go of all the emotions. One year later she had rewritten her story to live out her dream of performing on stage and share the music from her heart. She performs songs from a difficult time and to remind young and old that life must be lived in the moment.

Penny’s music grants the listeners permission to open their hearts without fear. “I Am” is the name of her debut album and with the “rewritten” project she wishes to help others rewrite their history through music.

Programme:

15:00-15:30 Introduction

15:30-16:30 Music and stories

16:30-17:00 Meditation and sing-along
