Same experience for everyone

At the museum we are pleased that levels are no longer a challenge for our visitors.

In the middle of August, a much-anticipated wheelchair lift was finally installed in the exhibition. This means that all guests can enter both levels of the exhibition.

A busy summer at the museum

At Museum Ovartaci we, much like other cultural institutions in the country, have benefitted from the unpredictable summer weather. During the summer many guests found their way to the museum and our exhibitions. At Museum Ovartaci we have not only had guests from all over Denmark but also a fair share of foreign guests amongst other Germany, England, Holland and the Nordic countries.

Struck by Art

Experience actor Jens Jørgen Spottag in conversation with museum director Mia Lejsted about how Ovartaci’s smoking phantoms, art and personality has impacted him.

Spottag is currently performing King Lear by Shakespeare at Aarhus Theatre, a play where King Lear ends up losing his mind. During the conversation Spottag and Lejsted will cover madness and what it means to be mad.

The worlds best volunteers

At Museum Ovartaci we have the best volunteers in the world – something we highly appreciate!

A beautiful summer evening in late August our volunteers enjoyed a fabulous evening in Marselisborg Slotshave. The weather was terrific for a cheerful tour full of facts and stories, all told by one of the volunteers. During this they enjoyed sandwiches and a glass of bubbly.

This event was made possible by a donation from the Friends of Museum Ovartaci.
